A 20-year-old rape survivor was raped in Haryana’s Rohtak, around 60kms from National Capital, by her perpetrators for not withdrawing three-year-old rape-case against them.
The incident came to light after the victim was found in unconscious condition behind bushes on Thursdaymorning.
The victim’s family member told the police that the five persons behind the heinous act are the same people who had outraged the modesty of the victim in 2013. The five all in their twenties are out of jail in bail.
Narrating her Saturday ordeal to police the victim said, “I was returning home from college when the five forced me inside a car and drugged me.”
According to the local police the victim was found in the bushes in Rohtak’s Sukhpura Chowk area. She is ongoing medical treatment in a local government hospital.
Police have lodged an FIR and formed to nab the accused.
According to the victim’s family member the five accused have been warning them to settle the case outside court or face dire consequences.
“The five had offered us Rs50lakh to settle the case outside court,” said a relative of the victim.
