The NDRF team has recovered bodies of three people who had gone missing after the British-era bridge on Mumbai-Goa Highway was washed away by rough waters of flooded Savitri River.
On Wednesday wee hours two busses boarded with at least 29 people, along with several four-wheelers and two-wheelers were washed away in the rough-waters after the bridge collapsed.
The government has engaged several teams along with NDRF to recover the missing safe and sound.
NDRF has engaged deep-divers, rafters, several boats and choppers to recover the lost vehicles and people aboard with them. NDRF is also using huge-magnets to detect the vehicles.
The rescue teams after sunset has stopped the rescue-mission which was started again after sunrise on Thursday.
Maharashtra chief minister has ordered a probe into the incident and ordered investigation of at least 35 bridges across the states which are century years old.
