4 quick summer coolers that your kid can also make

Summers are here and very much dehydrating us with every single step that we take in the sun. In such a condition it is very essential to keep the energy level intact with sufficient water intake. And what better way than having it coupled with the flavors of fruits and herbs.

Below are some interesting and easy summer cooler recipes that even your kid can easily make in the kitchen:

  1. Frozen blueberry lemonade
    – In a blender, puree the blueberries, lemonade, mint, confectioners’ sugar, and 3 cups ice until smooth
    – Garnish with mint sprigs
  2. Gingery peach cooler:
     In a pitcher, combine the ginger ale, nectar, peaches, and ginger
    – Serve over ice
  3. Honeydew, cucumber and mint cooler:
    – Puree the melon, chopped cucumber, and mint in a blender until smooth. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve into a large pitcher
    – Add the lime juice and sliced cucumber. Chill for 30 minutes or up to 12 hours. Stir well before serving. Serve over ice, garnished with lime slices
  4. Strawberry thyme lemonade:
    – Combine the sugar, thyme, and 1 cup water in a small pot. Bring to a boil and cook, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is dissolved. Let cool and discard the thyme
    – Combine the thyme syrup with the strawberries, lemon juice, and 5 cups cold water in a large pitcher. Chill for 30 minutes or up to 12 hours. Serve over ice, garnished with additional thyme
