77 Sunset Strip series star Roger Smith dies at age of 84


77 Sunset Strip star Roger Smith died at the age of 84 in Sherman Oaks. The actor was married to actress Ann-Margret.

In the year 1980, the actor left acts when he was detected with myasthenia gravis.

The star produced numerous TV specials for the sake of his wife’s career. This year on 8 May both had celebrated 50th marriage anniversary.

Roger Smith played a role of the investigator in the series of 77 Sunset Strip. During 1958 to 1964 the serial was very well-known series. His Spencer character made looks on additional detective shows like Surfside 6 and Hawaiian Eye.

The actor also made the appearance in movies like No Time to Be Young, Auntie Mame and Man of a Thousand Faces.

From him first marriage, he has a daughter and two sons while Roger Smith and Ann-Margret had no children.
