Only a couple of days have passed since the controversy surrounding Kumar Vishwas was sorted out, and yet, there appears to be a storm brewing somewhere near for the AAP. In a new development, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has sacked Kapil Mishra, Delhi’s Tourism and Water Minister. To replace Mishra, two new legislators have been inducted in the cabinet, Rajendra Gautam and Kailash Gehlot. This may appear normal on the surface, but it may not be so in reality since Mishra’s sacking came after he tweeted that he had come across a major water tanker scam and will expose it in public. The tweet he posted read, “today shared explosive details with @ArvindKejriwal. tmew with public”.
Sources said that his sacking may be a way to put pressure on him to not disclose details about the water tanker scam. Mishra is said to be close to Kumar Vishwas, something that indicates that there may be more to it than meets the eye. Even Kumar Vishwas seemed to provide clues to what’s happening when he tweeted, “देश और कार्यकर्ताओं को भरोसा दिलाता हूँ कि हम भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ अंदर और बाहर आवाज़ उठाना जारी रखेंगे,परिणाम चाहे कुछ भी हो!भारतमाता की जय”
