AAP’s troubles got deeper today after Kumar Vishwas lashed out at Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia in an emotional speech. Vishwas is one of the founding members of the AAP and he is not happy with the recent decisions taken by Kejriwal and Sisodia. The rift became worse when AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan accused Vishwas of associating with the BJP and RSS. Vishwas said that if Khan had made such accusations against Kejriwal or Sisodia, them Khan would have been immediately removed from the party. Vishwas also said that Khan is just being used as a cover to express the views of those who are conspiring against him. Vishwas further said that he will think about the current situation in detail today and may come up with a major decision soon. This statement has led to the speculation that AAP may have to deal with a coup in the near future.
Soon after Vishwas’ outburst, Sisodia condemned his act, saying that Vishwas should not discuss internal party matters in the public, as it creates a bad impression among people and party workers. Sisodia said that Vishwas was invited to the Political Affairs Committee (PAC) meet, but he did not attend the meeting. He said that volunteers should know who Vishwas is helping by discussing internal matters with the media. Sisodia said that Vishwas has the responsibility to discuss such issues in the party forum and not outside.
