Online Retail giant Amazon is planning to start grocery stores in India. The company is building its grip in physical retail stores globally and following the same aim, company is about to start its first physical grocery store in Bengaluru.
In recent past Amazon, got authorization from Indian government for food retail via online portals as well as physical outlets and therefore, company is fascinated to start first grocery store in Bengaluru.
As per the sources this grocery project is given internal code as Project Everest.
Amazon’s founder Jeff Bezos pronounced in past year that company ideas to invest about $5 billion in India.
