The 7th Annual Long Island Imagine Awards, an awards competition created to offer formal acknowledgement to Long Island’s most effective and creative nonprofit organizations, is accepting applications in five categories: Arts & Culture, Innovation, Leadership, Rising Star (for organizations with a $2M budget or less) and Social Impact.To be eligible, the organization or executive must meet all of the following requirements: recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) organization, must significantly service Nassau and/or Suffolk County communities and must be innovative in operations, activities, etc..The 20 finalists will receive a free promotional video and a chance to win a $5,000 grant.The application deadline is Wednesday, November 28, 2018 and more information can be found at www.imagineawardsli.com.
Last year’s event attracted over 400 attendees from the nonprofit and business communities and an even larger crowd is expected this year. Winners will be announced LIVE at the awards gala at the Crest Hollow Country Club on Tuesday, April 30, 2019.
