With the imposition of the President’s rule to the dismissal of Nabam Tuki government, to Pema Khandu joining the Congress to become the youngest CM of the country, and his moving to the Peoples Party of Arunachal (PPA) along with 42 MLAs and finally getting removed as the CM of Arunachal Pradesh.
He was removed from the post of CM on Friday and Takam Pario was appointed as the CM. Pema Khandu has now moved to the BJP along with 33 other MLAs and will soon be the CM of Arunachal Pradesh again. The PPA has suspended 4 other MLAs for anti-party activities.
Pema Khandu mentioned that the undemocratic conditions that forced the MLAs to leave the Congress were prevailant in the PPA. This led to the MLAs quitting the PPA and merging with the BJP. Pema Khandu will be the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh again.
