ATS to probe 27 missing Indians in Saudi Arabia

ATS of Maharashtra hurled search in case of 27 Murshidabad-based pilgrims in Saudi Arabia’s Jeddah got disappeared. The search was started after a Mumbai-based travel agent warned ATS that the pilgrims have not reached their hotel on their expected date of reappearance. Centre is informed on missing persons by ATS.

West Bengal resident, 44-year-old Sekh Nuruzzaman was about to come back on February 22 and his agent of travel, said that while Nuruzzaman went to Haj Umrah but has not come back.


There is not complaint of missing is registered in local police station of West Bengal for Nuruzzaman. In fact his wife confirms that her husband Nuruzzaman is working in Jeddah and he calls her on regular basis.

His wife also said that she does not know what work he is doing there in Jeddah but she will ask him next time when he calls up her.
