Balaji Telefilms acquired Marinating Films Private Limited in 2014. The acquisition helped the company to boost its revenue through TV-centric intellectual property rights.

About the Founders:
Balaji Telefilms was founded by Jeetendra Kapoor, who currently serves as the chairman. Jeetendra has significant experience in the entertainment industry, having worked in more than 200 films in his 45-year film career. The operations of the company are ably managed by the entire family, which includes Shobha Kapoor, Managing Director; Ekta Kapoor, Joint Managing Director and Tusshar Kapoor, Director. The CEO of Balaji Telefilms is Mr. Sunil Lulla, who has more than 30 years of experience in the media, entertainment and broadcast industry.
