BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) Delhi office will be closed as per the Committee of Administrators’ decision.
Subsequently Indian Cricket Team’s media manager Nishant Arora has also put his resignation from the post. For 18 months of time Nishant Arora has been BCCI media manager.
As per source Mr. Nishant Arora put is resignation when he got to know that he needs to shift to Mumbai office at Cricket House where other the staff works.
Committee of Administrators (COA)’s member Diana Edulji told they instructed to close the Delhi office but have not named any one. We never called Nishant but as he is Delhi office staff then he has to go and if his contract as media manager is self-governing then BCCI CEO Rahul Johri takes a final call. Further Nishant’s standby decision will also be done by BCCI CEO.
Further appointments, term and contract of other BCCI officials will be seen by BCCI CEO Rahul Johri.
The Delhi office Staff was recruited by former president Anurag Thakur’s staff. Mr. Anurag was removed from his post by Supreme Court it was vital that staff to be removed.
