Following a healthy routine is very critical these days. Owing to our sedentary lifestyle, unhealthy eating habits, etc. we are very close to ruining our lives in the long run. But we should keep on moving ahead with small steps as well, towards being healthy. And one the key change that you should make is the timing pf your sleep.
Ayurveda believes that routine is a discipline for the body and mind which strengthens immunity and purifies the body of its wastes. With the help of simple healthy routines, one can clean the body and mind, balance.
Wake up time: One should wake up about one and a half hour before the sun rise so that you can synchronize with the rhythm of sun. One should daily practice meditation after waking up. It calms our senses, and makes our body and soul fit for the day.
Sleeping time: The ideal time to sleep is by 10:30 pm. To calm the system, one can massage the soles of the feet before going to bed. Taking a bath (neither too hot nor cold water) before going to bed also helps the body to relax and release the pressure that has been build up the entire day.
