Why superheroes need special powers to fight evil, crime and injustice? Why can’t ordinary humans, aka the common man, fight evil? These are some of the questions that Bhavesh Joshi Superhero tries to answer. The movie builds on the current state of affairs in the country, wherein crime and corruption have become widespread. People know they are suffering due to the crime and corruption, but nobody is willing to raise their voice against the injustice. Either people are too busy earning their livelihood or they are afraid to speak against powerful people like corrupt politicians, policemen, etc. It takes people with real courage to make efforts to change the system, which is exactly the story captured in Bhavesh Joshi Superhero.

The story catches up on the life of three college students, who are disturbed by the widespread crime and corruption. But rather than just talking about it, the three college mates decide to start working as vigilantes. They begin taking up local issues, which are of interest to the common man. However, things change dramatically when one of them is killed while trying to uncover the corrupt dealings of a local politician. This incident forever changes the destiny of the remaining college mate, who becomes even more determined to fight crime and corruption. He transforms himself into a true-blue superhero, who utilizes gadgets and technology to take on the corrupt and criminals.

The great thing about Bhavesh Joshi Superhero is that it attempts to inspire the common man to fight crime, corruption and injustice. It shows how things can be changed with truthfulness, courage and conviction. However, some of the action sequences shown in the second half of the movie may be too tough for the common man to implement in real life. Nonetheless, the inspiration to change the system is certainly there and it works. The movie is not a copy of popular superhero movies, although it does utilize some of the usual stuff such as facemasks, superfast bikes, technology, etc. Both Harshvardhan Kapoor and Priyanshu Painyuli have delivered good performances in the movie.

Bhavesh Joshi Superhero is about real people in flesh and blood fighting crime and corruption. If the idea appeals to you, you can definitely watch this one.
