Setting the tone for 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that he will not take rest nor will let others. He was speaking at the BJP Parliamentary Party meet on Thursday.
PM Modi also asked BJP parliamentarians to create youth ambassadors of the government’s people-oriented schemes. He claimed that the current government’s perception has been changed from a working government to a performing government.
In an apparent reference to 2019 Lok Sabha elections and coming assembly elections, BJP chief Amit Shah asked the BJP leaders to get ready for the the next challenges.
This BJP parliamentary party meeting, first after winning the Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand elections as well as forming a coalition government at Goa and Manipur, the BJP was in a celebration mode.
Prime Minister Modi asked the BJP parliamentarians to spend 72 hours to reach out to people when his government completes three years on May 26. He said that neither will he rest nor will let others.
Union Minister Ananth Kumar said that BJP will be launching a week long events leading to Ambedkar’s birth anniversary on April 14.
BJP will also be observing a week-long exercise in every panchayat and ward.
It will also celebrate its foundation day on April 6 during which its leaders and workers will take part in ‘swachh Bharat’ campaign.
PM Modi also asked the leaders help in boosting the utilization of BHIM app and spread the benefits of digital transactions.
