Usain Boolt has yet again proved as to why he is the King when it comes to 100 metres. Bolt who recently announced that he would be retiring after the World Championships is still in his prime form.
Bolt won the Monaco Diamond League meet on Friday by finishing the race in less than 10 seconds to win the race. He had a slow start but bettered his opponent with three hundredths of a second ahead of American Isiah Young. South Africa’s Akani Simbine was third in 10.02.
Bolt will race in London next month where he will race in the 100 metres and 4x100m relay. He got treated for his back pain in Germany just last month to see him better when it comes to performance.
“It was good, I’m going into right direction, still a lot of work to do,” said Bolt and continued “I’m always here for the fans, and of course I will miss the vibe around the track. Mixed emotions always — happy for my career, sad that it is ending. Sub 10 is always good. It was an exciting race, lots of energy.”
Bolt ha been featured in the all time greats for sports and has won many awards and always been featured in the top paid athletes since he endorses array of brand including PUMA.
