 Majority fitness trainers recommend a low carbohydrate diet as carbohydrates are difficult to digest and contain excess calories. The truth about carbs is, a low carbohydrate diet will not lead to a long term weight loss and might even cause some malfunctioning of some body parts. Weight gain happens from calories and calories can come in any form from carbohydrates, fats, proteins and many more stuff. So a check on calorie count is important rather than a complete check on only carbohydrates.

 Low carbs diet will lead to an incomplete nutrition for the body and long term losses. Agreed to the fact that there needs to be a check on the amount of carbohydrates one intakes. Carbohydrate intake for individuals differs in terms of age, gender, and metabolism. An individual who does a high intensity work or people who do weight lifting generally have higher muscle mass and can digest more carbohydrates as compared to others. On the contrary people who have diabetes or are obese generally should consume fewer carbohydrates.

 Analyse your body before charting down a cipher carbohydrate plan. A very low carbohydrate can cause constipation, dizziness, loss of appetite, weakness. These effects if carried for long might lead to bigger problems like less bowel movement, weight gain, kidney malfunction and many more.
