CBSE impose fine to 2,077 affiliated schools

Central Board of Secondary Education has imposed fine of Rs 50,000 to affiliated schools in the country. These schools are sent notices mentioning that schools are not complying with an order for disclosing a list of particulars about the institutions public.

As per the mandatory order, all CBSE affiliated schools had to disclose public particulars under a number of heads which includes a number of water taps and Wi-Fi facilities, whole particulars about monthly fees of each class, also schools needs to share admission results.


As per CBSE official in the direction of giving detail, some 2,077 schools were unsuccessful to give detail within the deadline.

31st October 2016 was the last date of submission and it was further extended to next month as schools were not able to submit required detail in the short notice.
