The opener Tamim Iqbal top scored 128 by firing 12 fours and 3 sixers. He had a 51 run partnership for the first wicket with Soumya Sarkar . The major breakthrough came for England when they claimed the wicket of Mushfiqur Rahman who scored 79 but by then, the score card read as 263. He scored 8 boundaries out of this. Sabbir Rahman scored a quick 24 out of 15 deliveries.

Chasing the total of 306, England had a shocker when it lost its opener Jason Roy when the score was just 6. After that, there was no turning back.
