Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announces 37 per cent hike in minimum wages

On Friday Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced 37 per cent hike in minimum wages in Delhi. The increased in minimum wages passed by Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal.


Before this Mr Kejriwal announced free surgery for patients in private hospitals.

Also the Delhi government’s Deputy CM Manish Sisodia announced increased salaries of temporary teachers by 70 to 80 percent in Delhi.

After orders will be issued, unskilled worker will be able to earn at least Rs. 13,350 in a month which is Rs. 9,724 at present. As per Mr Kejriwal the increase is historic and highest in Independent India.
