In Gujarat, a task is under process by technicians. The technicians are implanting chips in the cows’ ears. The chip will enable to map the cows and would be associated with unique identification.
In the state, a new law has passed, which enables life term imprisonment to them who will be found the criminal in killing cows.
According to the officials, a Radio Frequency ID Device is in place to operate the project.
In view of following the unlawful sale or stealing of the cow, the project is established. Also, the project aims to monitor the health and productivity of the cow, as per the state government.
In the first stage, some more than 35,000 cows will be implanted with unique identity number. As per the data, Gujarat has more than six million cows. To organize the data Gauseva and Gauchar Vikas Board of the state has installed central server arrangement in Gandhinagar.
