Curfew was relaxed in several parts of Srinagar and other Kashmir districts as the valley observed a complete shutdown on call of Hurriyat leaders on Sunday.
No major untoward incident was reported though some areas witnessed protests and clashes.
According to police and administrative officials the curfew was lifted in several parts of the valley following improvement in the situation.
The state has been on unrest since the killing of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani by security agencies on July 8.
More than hundreds including security personnel and protestors have been injured and several have been killed in the last 50-days of unrest.
Protests were reported in Anantnag district, Shopian district, Jama Masjid Ajas in Bandipora and Noorbagh area of Srinagar.
Stone pelting were reported in Anantnag and Shopian. Protestors took to the streets after four youths were arrested by security agencies in Saturday night raids.
