University saying it needs at least five more days to come out with the results.
The results of third year science were declared . Students of other courses including commerce engineering and law have to wait longer for their final year results.
Registrar M A Khan said the university would now ensure all results were declared by August 5.
Out of 477 exams the university so far declared 177 odd papers ,despite the Maharashtra Public Universities Act mandating that results be declared within 45 days of the exams.
A teacher said in commerce subjects many papers are missing.
“The number of students who wrote the exam doesn’t match available answer scripts,” said a teacher.
Another teacher said there are cases one answer booklet may have been assigned to two seat numbers during scanning.
“It is evident from handwritings on the answer scripts. The university is trying to resolve the issue,” said the teacher.
Of the yet-to-be-assessed answer books, over 70% are pending from commerce.
Law makes up another 10% and management and other courses make the rest.
