Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today got yet another opportunity to target the BJP government when his favorite Wagon R car was stolen from the ITO area in the national capital. Kejriwal, who has been fighting to get control of the police forces in Delhi, questioned the police about where its attention was these days. The Delhi police currently works under the control of the central government. The car was stolen when it was parked just outside the Delhi Secretariat. The car was widely used by Kejriwal during various campaigns and protests in his political career. Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has a lot of supporters from middle class income groups, and this is exactly why the Wagon R was being used extensively to create a favorable image of AAP among the masses. The Wagon R is one of the most widely used cars by the middle class households in India.
Now, that the car has been stolen, there are various speculations doing the round. One theory doing the rounds is that the car may have been stolen purposefully to show Kejriwal in a weak spot. Every politician has various enemies and the act of stealing the car could have been done by one of those enemies. Another theory is that it would be an inside job, aimed at finding faults with the police administration or the central government. Meanwhile, an FIR has been registered in connection with the theft of the car. The police are working on some clues and hope to solve the case soon.
