Delhi High Court said that Centre’s choice to bar contentious preacher Zakir Naik’s Islamic Research Foundation was in direction of country’s security.
Naik’s foundation’s has put plea and challenged Centre’s choice, which court has considered as nullified. Today Court on dismissed the plea of IRF.
Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva said that Union of India took a decision of ban favors integrity and national security of the country.
Centre provided files and resources available with the government to court, on the source of which the conclusion was ended.
IRF had raised a plea against the 17th November 2016 notification from the Ministry of Home Affairs which compulsory put immediate ban on the organization under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act.
