Dew Arena

Mountain Dew announced the Dew Arena Gaming Championship 2017 six months ago where gamers from 300 cities and 125 locations in India participated. Finally on 1st October 2017, the gaming finale concluded with a groundbreaking event which set a benchmark for the gaming events in India. PepsiCo, the company concluded the event swiftly as they handed over the prize cheques to the winners.

Preceded by an exciting Semi Final match at New Delhi on the 29th September 2017, Dew Arena Gaming Finale lived up to the spirit of all the gamers. The show was telecast on Discovery’s Exclusive Sport Channel, DSport and also on the Facebook and Youtube pages of Mountain Dew India and ESL.

The stage was set in Hotel Andaz by Hyatt, New Delhi. The lights, ambiance looked magnificent. People started to turn in for the event and the gamers went live for the showdown. There were 25 finalists from all the different games. The stage was all set for their entry such that they had their best moments. The excitement on the face of the participants said it all. Finally after fighting all the way from the Semi Finals and Grand Finale 12 gamers made it become the winner across all the categories.

1.Game – Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

  • 1st  Place: Entity Gaming – Mumbai

  • 2nd Place: Shooting Monkeys – Mumbai

2. Game – DOTA 2

  • 1st Place: Aggressive 5 – Mumbai

  • 2nd Place: Team Buriza – Hyderabad

3. Game – Rocket League

  • 1st  Place: Rahul “FTW Rahul” Poundarik – Indore

  • 2nd Place: Manmeet “Lucifer” Singh – Delhi

4. Game – Street Fighter V

  • 1st Place: Bhagwant “B3” Bagh – Delhi

  • 2nd  Place: Satyendra “khiladi” Vishwakarma – Mumbai

Players who qualified to feature on the bottle:
