DGCA asks airline to check mental alertness of pilots

DGCA has ordered the airline to see the mental readiness of its 10 pilots in view of seeing if they are fit to fly planes.

In past pilots opposed a suggestion by writing a letter to DGCA on increasing the notice period of commanders to a year. Later on, this order came from DGCA.

The letter was written to joint director in place of joint director-general.

The Joint Deputy General replied back saying that it seems that state of mind is not correct and not in appropriate form to fly the plane, the alertness required to fly the plane is missing.
