Delhi Metro will come with driverless metro train, this is world’s most progressive metro systems and same is being operated in Singapore, Beijing and Dubai.
In two lines, which runs from Majlis Park to Shiv Vihar and Janakpuri West to Botanical Garden would have driverless system to run metro automatically.
Anuj Dayal, DMRC spokesperson said organizing for driverless metro trains, we have uncommon requirements in place such as the platform screen entrances and passenger alarm switches.
He also said platform screen doors will be extra security net to remove the chances of travelers sinking on to Metro tracks or getting wedged between Metro doors.
Every coach will be armed with 4 CCTV cameras and the OCC will have actual view of activities inside every train.
