Two major pharmaceutical companies of India have recalled drugs from USA. Which includes Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories and Aurobindo Pharma, both have individually started intended recalls of drug from the U.S. market.
As per the notification posted on the website of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Aurobindo Pharma’s U.S. division has initiated recalling Gastroesophageal reflux disease treatment Pantoprazole Sodium for injection from the market. Other Pharmaceutical company Dr. Reddy’s Lab is recalling Olanzapine tablets which used in the treatment of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.
Total number of recall is of 5,904 bottles of Olanzapine tablet by Dr. Reddy’s Lab, while Aurobindo Pharma recalls total of 29,800 vessels of Pantoprazole Sodium.
