The DU bucked previous year’s trend of sky rocketing cut offs as the first list released on Friday.
Among these, the highest cut off after five years has not crossed 98 in the best of four for humanities aggregate.
Lady Shri Ram college recorded 98.5% aggregate in the best of four for psychology (H) is the highest.
SGTB recorded 99.66% in aggregate is the highest score for science.
This year the cut off for B.Com at SRCC is 97.75%.
Ramjas college set the record last year with 99.25% cut off for B.Com (Hons)
A few subjects at Daulat Ram college saw a rise in cut-offs with 97% for Eng (Hons) and 91% for BA programme.
Analyst say the first cut off issued this year is closer to reality. The institutes struggled to fill the seats last year when the second list was released.
There are 2000 additional seats this time because new courses have been introduced.
In Janaki Devi memorial College for BA History (Hons) cut off raised from 85 to 90 percent.
Admissions for the first cut off list starts from Saturday and continue for three days.
The second list will be issued on July 1.
Candidates must carry Passport size self attested photographs , original copy of the registration form etc.
