We all love our hair when it is bouncy, flowy, and healthy. But having such hair is not easy, and it requires maintenance. And maintenance also comes in the form of hair spas that we need to get done at least once every month. But we would also agree to the fact that many a times, we either do not get time, or otherwise we become lazy to go to the parlour.
So below is a step-by-step guide on how to do hair spa at home:
⦁ Massage your scalp – Massage with some warm coconut oil or olive oil in circulation motion. This will improve blood circulation
⦁ Steam the hair – Dip a towel in warm water and squeeze the excess water out. Wrap the towel around the hair. This allows the oil to penetrate deep into the scalp. Do this for about 5-6 minutes
⦁ Wash your hair – Wash your hair with a mild shampoo and cold water
⦁ Apply conditioner – After shampooing, use a conditioner, or use the water of tea leaves to which a few drops of lime juice has been added. Rinse it off after half an hour with just warm water and no shampoo.
⦁ The nourishing mask – In a bowl, mix two eggs, honey and some coconut oil. You can add a ripe banana to this – banana is a hair softener. You can also use olive oil instead of coconut oil. Leave the mask on for 20 minutes, then rinse with a mild shampoo
Repeat this hair spa method at least twice every month, and see the visible effect.
