Yesterday the Uttarakhand High Court declined to stay the EVM Challenge which is to be planned by the Election Commission today.
The court gave the verdict after hearing the arguments.
Congress leader Ramesh Pandey filed a PIL, claiming that the poll board does not have lawful ability to organize EVM challenge like this.
After the Aam Aadmi Party and Congress alleged EVM machines were tempered and it finally made enormous mandates for the BJP.
The Election Commission spokesman said that EVM Challenge is on scheduled time and the challenge will take place in in two distinct halls concurrently. For the challenge, 14 EVMs are brought from Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Punjab.
