Faridabad NCR to kick-start India’s first Digital Mall

13th March, 2018, Faridabad: India’s first biggest digital mall is to be launched in Faridabad soon. Mallidays Infotech Pvt Ltd is all set to launch DIGITAL MALL OF INDIA marketplace in 20 Indian cities, including Faridabad, Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Ghaziabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Coimbatore, Ahmadabad, Lucknow, Bhubaneswar, Mysore, Mangalore, Pune, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Jaipur, and Ludhiana. Registrations for the same have been already started.

Speaking during a press meet at Hotel Delite Grand Faridabad, Mr. Rishabh Mehra Managing Director of Mallidays Infotech Pvt Ltd, said, “We are glad to announce that we will start Digital Mall of India soon from Faridabad. Growing at a steady rate of 50-60 percent a year, the Indian e-tail market is expected to reach $80-100 billion in gross merchandise value (GMV) by 2020. I truly believe that e-commerce is the future of retail and it will play a big role in India specifically. With an internet user base of over 400 million, India has third largest internet population after US & China. E-Commerce, in-spite of the opportunities it presents, also poses certain challenges for sellers like heavy commission charged by marketplace, delays in settlement of cash payments leading to working capital issues, many suppliers for the same category. It also incurs more cost than traditional logistics due to returns, long delivery time, lack of touch and feel; payment on delivery not available on all categories and locations, fake products, online supplier does not have offline presence. Digital Mall of India is a solution to almost all the problems that online shopping is currently facing.

Mr. Rishabh Mehra further added, “The innovative concept of digital malls wherein one can buy and rent e-shops will add a new dimension to investment options. The prudence of investing in real estate has been under the scanner with shrinking Return on investment figures and it is in this scenario that the concept of investing in Digital Real Estate is taking shape. Each city will have a different mall with minimum 5000 shops. We have opened the sale of Digital shops in the Noida mall with total inventory of 500 crores. Each mall will have exclusive retail shops, hypermarket, food court, digiplex, online club and a gaming zone.”
