Festivalgoers reveal the key items they take with them to festivals, with cash (95%), alcohol (90%) and a change of clothes (90%) topping the list. In a survey held by Brothers Cider www.brotherscider.co.uk *, respondents were asked about their festival-going habits, including the essential items they can’t do without, with some interesting answers provided including air freshener for use inside a tent, an inflatable flamingo and colouring book and pens.
The top items festivalgoers take with them to festivals:
– Cash 95%
– Alcohol 90%
– Change of clothes 90%
– Toiletries 88%
– Sunglasses 86%
– Wellies/boots 86%
Geraldine Doyle, Marketing Manager at Brothers, commented: “It’s good to see that festivalgoers are both optimistic and realistic about the weather, giving the same priority to wellies and sunglasses. As the original festival cider, we always look forward to festival season and this year is no exception.
“We have put together our own festival survival kit which includes plasters, a whistle, ear plugs, torch, toilet seat cover and of course, a 1L carton of our Festival Apple cider**. We are also opening a cider shop at The Cider Mill, Shepton Mallet from Tuesday 20th June to Friday 23rd June so revellers can stop off and stock up on their way to Glastonbury.”
The survey also revealed that those who drink cider at festivals opt for apple (61%) as their flavour of choice, followed by pear (37%) and berry (36%).
