It seems Actor Kamal Hassan is in no mood to budge. The actor who raised various issues regarding the functioning, law and order of the State in a series of interviews after being dragged into Big Boss controversy, received open threats from the ruling party Ministers. One of them said that he would order an inquiry to ascertain whether the actor has paid all the taxes due till date where as another minister threatened of legal action.
The spat of word continued in social media too with Hassan taking to Twitter to dig on the functions of the Government which got the support of opposition party leader MK Stalin and other leaders who condemned the open threats given to him by the ministers which is seen as a clear misuse of power which prompted Hassan saying that, if he himself is not safe in Tamilnadu, he cannot imagine the plight of a commoner.
While his fans celebrated his boldness and also considered the recent developments as Hassan’s entry into politics, he replied that he has already entered the politics when he voiced against the making of Hind Language, a compulsory one. Yesterday, he also got the backing of Producer’s Council head, Actor Vishal.
Reacting to one of the minister’s statement, Hassan said it is up to the public to take the spat directly with him and he will not be acting as a middleman between them. He compared this situation with that of God and a Devotee where the latter has to go via a priest. Kamal tweeted from his official account yesterday asking his fans and association to flood the minsters with the letters pertaining to corruption and other charges which they have witnessed or undergone themselves.
