When you wake up in the morning and you see yourself in the mirror, in which mood would you want to desire to see yourself- gloomy OR jovial? The decisions taken by us in our life defines us and influences our mood. If a person takes a decision which ceases him of the opportunity to grow or to do a work in which he doesn’t put his full effort, he will neither be happy nor will he be able to produce fruitful results. On the other hand, if the person is allowed to take decisions by himself, he will not only put his mind in thought process, but will also put his emotions into his decision making process. This will lead to increase in his productivity and that person will attract positive forces.
We should always do what comes from within our heart. If we follow what our heart thinks is right, our mind will automatically provide directions, thereby providing a path to achieve those tasks. A person should have a GOAL in his life so that he can channelize his energies in that particular aim.
Had Sachin Tendulkar not listened to his heart, the Indian Cricket Team would not be able to see the GOD OF CRICKET. If Saina Nehwal and P.V Sindhu had constrained herself of being a girl, we would not have been able to see triumphant in Badminton breaking stereotypes that girls cannot play. Shahrukh Khan would not have been able to get the name KING KHAN if he had not listened to his heart and come to Mumbai to pursue his dreams.
What is common in all these legends is that they chose not to compensate with their dreams and put their heart and soul to achieve their dreams. They not only became successful, but it can be seen from their shining faces how happy and satisfied they are.
This should not be limited to celebrities. Most of the common people should not feel that they cannot have an extraordinary life if they don’t get famous. An ordinary man, who is working in a nine-to-five job may lead an extremely amazing life if they do the work in which their expertise is and in the field in which they are erudite. It is not necessary for a person to complete his graduation and definitely go for higher studies. It is their choice whether they want to go for studies or they want to do a job or go for an entrepreneurial venture. For instance, an anonymous person from a reputed engineering college dropped out in the final year of his course and decided to start up his own business.
Life is not easy, and we make it more complicated by not taking decisions which are in our favour. Any new journey seems difficult only in the inception, but as soon as we start putting efforts, results come. There may be failures, but a person should not get demotivated by fiascos. They should be lessons to make them learn to move ahead till the journey doesn’t get completed. If you have faith, if you believe in yourself, if you desire to excel, then you will definitely see positive results. Make mistakes, be silly, be imperfect, trust yourself and follow your heart.
As late Steve Jobs said- HAVE THE COURAGE TO FOLLOW YOUR HEART AND INTUITION. THEY SOMEHOW ALREADY KNOW WHAT YOU TRULY WANT TO BECOME. EVERYTHING ELSE IS SECONDARY.
