Manager-rank officials of a renowned Ayurvedic drug company allegedly rape a 25-year-old event-management company owner on gunpoint after an office party in a hotel at Banthara area, around 25 kilometers from Uttar Pradesh capital Lucknow.
The four executives accused of rape have been arrested by the state police and sent to jail. Police is in look for the middle-man who introduced the event-management company owner to the executives to organize an event.
“Police teams nabbed the accused with the help of electronic surveillance. Raids are being made to one of absconders,” Lucknow SSP Manzil Saini to the media.
The four accused have been identified as Satyavir Singh, Paresh Tomar, Devraj Singh and Rashtriya Bhushan Bharti. Police said that all the arrested age between 30years and 35years and are residents of Lucknow city.
The four have been booked under IPC sections 354, 376 (2) (G), 323, 504, 506, 342 and 379.
Police said, hotel manager has also been arrested for organizing dance show with proper permissions which is violation of norms.
According to the FIR lodged by the victim, she came in contact with one of the accused through a common acquaintance Ashfaq.
She has stated that Satyavir had hired her to organize an event having a dance show by female dancers for the company’s executives.
The FIR further read that after the show was over Satyavir called her to his room in pretext of making payments after the event ended around 1:30am in Sunday. As she entered the room one of the accused locked the door and the four accused rape her at gunpoint.
The victim stated in the FIR that she was warned of dire consequences if she informed the police or anyone about the criminal offence.
