This one needs no introduction and certainly not any rationale or logic, since it has already made its name for creating complete mayhem and chaos. The sequel to the 2013 movie with the same name, Fukrey Returns promises double the fun, laughs, gags, and guffaws.

The second installment of Fukrey is even better than the first, something that provides all the more reasons to watch this movie. However, you need not necessarily have to watch the prequel to understand Fukrey Returns. It’s simply because there is nothing to understand in the movie. It’s just a wild adventure involving some bumbling as well as badass characters. Moreover, a brief of the prequel has been provided in the opening credits.

The story catches up from where it had left in the prequel. Hunny (Pulkit Samrat), Choocha (Varun Sharma), Lali (Manjot Singh) and Zafar (Ali Fazal) are itching for a new adventure. However, they are again faced up with a problem, as Bholi (Richa Chadha), the fearsome don, is back from jail. Bholi has paid a big price to get herself released from jail, which has made her broke. She wants a lot of cash and she orders the Fukras to hatch a new plan to earn money. However, it won’t be easy since other rogues also get whiff of the plans being hatched and they too want a piece of the pie. Will the Fukras succeed in their mission or will Bholi rip their skins off their bodies?

Since 2013, the actors appear to have improved their acting skills phenomenally. They are now much more captivating and engaging in their respective roles. Varun Sharma has been especially impressive in his role of the bumbling Choocha. He still loves Bholi and just can’t accept the fact that Bholi has no such feelings for him. Pankaj Tripathi as Panditji also deserves credit for his measured comic performance that will make you laugh and guffaw.

Fukrey Returns is real fun and a true entertainer. If the first installment had made you laugh, this one will leave you in splits.
