Goa Election 2017 – Chief Candidates To Impact Goa Polls Today

Today there is election in Goa for 40 seats and 250 candidates will participate in Goa Election 2017. At present Mr. Laxmikant Yashwant Parsekar is Chief Minister of Goa and he belongs to Bhartiya Janta Party. In year 2012, he was elected as Chief Minister when the BJP achieved a remarkable conquest by winning 21 seats out of 40 Goa Assembly seats.

While Congress Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are the two major parties in the state, AAP has come as new option for Goa State.

In today’s election key people will look for win and these key people will make major impact on elections in Goa.

Laxmikant Parsekar is Chief Minister of Goa and he is leading in the battle of Goa Election.

Subhash Velingkar:  RSS chief till last year August 2016, Mr. SubhashVelingkar is another chief candidate in Goa Elections.

Elvis Gomes:  He is former civil servant who turned into politician and joined AAP (Aam Aadmi Party). He took voluntary retirement in in July 2016.

Luizinho Faleiro: He is congress leader. He served two terms as the eighth Chief Minister of Goa in year 1998–1999.

Digambar Kamat: He was Chief Minister between year 2007 and year 2012, in recent past he is charged with many corruption cases which includes bribery scandal .
