Greenwood High International School Celebrates Graduation Day

Bangalore, 29 January, 2015 – The Greenwood High International School organized its annual graduation day for students of Class X in a grand way at is campus at Varthur Sarjapur Road. All the 55 students were given a fond farewell at the valedictory ceremony in a grand way. Touch the Sky’ was the message put forward through the various songs and dances.

The Guest Speaker for the event, Mr Manish Sabharwal, co-founder and Chairman of TeamLease Services advised students to ‘Make your education more than just academics’.His message to the children was manifold, he talked about working and progressing as a team on one hand and also about taking risks, thinking out of the box and being different on the other. Mr Sabharwal urged the students to fly, soar and touch the sky because the potential in each and every one is limitless and we just need the will to try.

The highlight of the event was the inspiring and interesting speech given by the graduating Salutatorian and Valedictorian. They spoke about the journey of school life, their learnings and their cherished memories.

The school presented mementos and certificates to the students. It was a proud moment for parents as they witnessed their children cross an important milestone and take a step into the future. The students also performed various cultural programs during the event.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Niru Agarwal, Trustee, Greenwood High International School stressed upon adhering to the school’s motto and the importance of discipline in one’s life. She asked the students to strive for excellence in their chosen career & carry the values inculcated at the school during their tenure. She also exhorted the students to put the best foot forward in the new world they will face now.

It was a grand and colourful event that would remain etched in the memories of the graduating students.
