Grohe, Global sanitary fittings giant ties-up with EasyFix to execute installation services for Online Consumer Business

New Delhi, 04/08/2016: Grohe, Europe’s largest manufacturer of sanitary fittings and part of LIXIL Group today announced its tie-up with EasyFix, India’s leading home repair and maintenance services platform. To begin with, EasyFix will provide installation service for online consumers of Grohe’s range of products covering kitchen and bathroom faucets/taps and shower systems, across 11 cities. EasyFix is into the business of b2b2c after sale service partnership since 2011 and has been working with clients like Snapdeal, Socktail, Mabelkart, Quikr amongst 65+ others to create a unique business model to bridge the gaps between demand and supply for professionalism in home repair and maintenance services market.

As part of the tie-up, the scope of services delivery will grow progressively, expanding from 11 cities currently to 35 cities.

The partnership facilitates Grohe’s customers with installation based support for the brand’s sanitary fittings range sold through online portal – Amazon. In order to extend it’s customer service excellence initiatives, Grohe it has started free installation demonstration services to it’s customers. The program has started from recent months, during which Grohe trained and EasyFix certified technician have been ensuring that customers get hassle-free installation.

Talking about the tie-up, Renu Misra, MD, Grohe India Pvt. Ltd. said, “With growing online industry we are eager to see a successful roll out of the scope of service based on the tie-up with EasyFix, which represents change on our part to give a new meaning to customer service & delivery in the sanitary fittings space in India. Grohe has taken this initiative to change/improve the quality of plumbing workmanship and also ensure online customers get their new product’s installed promptly. We want to make it speedy, efficient and fuss-free.”

The tie-up currently stands for a year and in this time the partners are also looking at integrating their technology platforms. The partnership is initiated keeping mutual growth and long-term plans in mind to create win-win for Brand, Customer and EasyFixer.
