The metro train connectivity will be increased in Gurugram as Haryana CM Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar seek to ease the traffic woes.
As of now, the Metro train route of the Huda City Centre and Delhi is one of the busiest and the state government is planning to extent that to Netaji Subhas Chandra Chowk on Sohna road.
CM Khattar was inaugurating the newly developed Rapid Metro Gurugram South Extension Line when he shared the development plan of the metro.
He said that the metro link will be extended from Subhas Chandra Chowk to Manesar and Bawal in near future.
He also claimed that the metro rides are safe and environment friendly. He said that the issue of traffic congestion can be dealt by adopting the mass rapid metro transport system.
CM Khattar also claimed that state government is working towards a plan to ease traffic conditions in Gurugram. New roads and well increased metro connectivity will to reduce the burden of traffic between Delhi and Gurugram.
CM Khattar also shared that the Indian Railways will be developing Gurugram railway station as a terminal at the same time time proposal of pod taxi from Dhaula Kuan in Delhi to Manesar is also on the table.
