The Arushi murder case is just refusing to come to its final conclusion. May be justice has yet to be served and the powers beyond human understanding are working towards that goal. In the most recent development, Hemraj’s family is planning to appeal in the Supreme Court against the recent order of the Allahabad High Court that had acquitted Arushi’s parents. It may be recalled that Hemraj, a domestic help, was killed along with Arushi and his body was found on the terrace. Hemraj’s family will wait to see if the CBI files a similar appeal in the Supreme Court. In case the CBI does not file an appeal, then Hemraj’s family will take a call on filing an appeal in the Supreme Court. As per the laws, the CBI has 90 days to file an appeal in the Supreme Court against the order of the High Court. However, at this point, legal experts at CBI are not sure about the next steps.
Hemraj’s family will wait for 2 months and if the CBI does not file an appeal in the Supreme Court, Hemraj’s family will approach the Supreme Court. While Arushi’s parents have been acquitted by the Allahabad High Court, the CBI strongly believes that the twin murders were conducted by the parents. The Nepalese community is supporting the theory that the parents committed the murders and they want justice. Hemraj was the sole earning member in his family and since his death, his family is facing various problems.
