Hollywood Lost ’77 Sunset Strip’ Star! Roger Smith Passed Away At 84

Roger LaVerne Smith, who was an American television and film actor and screenwriter paased away on Sunday at Sherman Oaks Hospital, after a long debilitating illness. This news was shared by a representative of the actress with a leading daily’s reporter.
Roger starred in the television detective series 77 Sunset Strip and in the comedy series Mister Roberts. He is the real man who made his wife’s career. 
In 1980, actor being diagnosed with myasthenia gravis and he got retirement from his acting career. If Don’t know about this disease, we tell you – Myasthenia gravis-MG, is a condition or disease in which body muscle weakens, and becomes very tired, very easily. 
After that, he managed his lovely wife’s career and produced several of her TV specials. In an old statement Ann-Margret said – “Roger had tremendous confidence in me, much more than I did.” 
Roger got married to Ann-Margret in 1967 and the couple had celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 8 recently. This was second marriage for Smith. Before Ann-Margret he was married to Victoria Shaw. Smith had a daughter and two sons from his first marriage.
Well, we must say that Hollywood lost it’s superman and star, he is surely gonna miss.
