HSBC Boss under Taxmen’s Lens

Stuart Gulliver, who heads the banking giant HSBC Group has come under taxmen’s (HMRC) lens after claiming non-domicile status since 2003. It is however come to the limelight that despite claiming that he owns a property and lives there in Hong Kong, this 8 million pound earner may have done this for personal gains.


The news assumes importance for the fact that the crackdown on non-domicile that was proposed by former Chancellor George Osborne in 2015 comes into effect from next month.
