RailYatri launches India’s 1st app dedicated to daily train travelers at top locations across the country, including Hyderabad
Hyderabad, March 6, 2015: RailYatri today launched the 1st pan-India app for local train commuters, covering local trains at the top 11 locations, including Hyderabad, all across India. The app shows at any time the next local train to the traveler’s home/office.
With this, RailYatri app has the largest network of trains covering all local and national trains. With the launch of ‘Local Trains’, users can get information about more than 13000 local + long distance trains within one app.
Manish Rathi, co-founder and CEO, RailYatri.in says, “Despite the fact that between 28% and 35% population in every metro city commutes by local trains, not much attention has been paid towards this mode of transport. Hence, we decided to bridge the gap and make local train commuters’ lives simpler.” He further adds, “Today’s train traveler is evolved and doesn’t want to be bothered with too many apps. With local trains too, RailYatri becomes the most comprehensive train app in India.”
RailYatri is the only app that covers local trains in Hyderabad. ‘Local Trains’ feature allows the users to access information about 170 local trains in Hyderabad. The network covers more than 85 local stations in Hyderabad till Secunderabad, Alwal, Ramannapet, Shankarpalli, Vishnupuram, Begumpet, Tandurbeing the routes with major traffic.
Looking for local train information in an app couldn’t have been simpler. Users can click on the ‘Local Trains’ feature from the main menu. It displays a complete list of cities, as shown in the screenshot below.
Select your city and enter the origin and destination. The app displays the next 3 trains going towards your destination station. Users can also see all trains going towards the destination station. Daily commuters also have an option of saving the route, so that the next train to home/office is always displayed on opening the app.
RailYatri app has more than 5500 local trains and the network is spread over 1300+ railway stations. Staying true to its goal of simplifying train travel in India, this is RailYatri’s yet another attempt to make train travel in India hassle-free and more enjoyable.
