Hyderabad to host International Conference on High Performance Computing, Data and Analytics

Hyderabad, 16th December 2019: Hyderabad is set to host the International Conference of IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) on High-Performance Computing, Data and Analytics (HiPC) to be held between December 17th to 20th, 2019 at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC). The conference will cover advanced topics in technology in the areas ranging from e-commerce, retail, healthcare, engineering, agriculture, weather, space sciences, among others. The conference is expected to witness a participation of over 500 delegates ranging from subject matter experts, corporate leaders, professors and students from India, US, Europe, China, and Japan and many other countries.

Prominent academic and industry researchers from around the world will gather at this conference to present their current research, share best practices, develop partnerships and collaborations in computational and information technology areas. The conference technical program will include plenary sessions consisting of keynote talks, and three days of single-track presentations of peer-reviewed papers from all over the world. This year the technical program will comprise 39 technical paper presentations, reporting recent advances in topical areas of high-performance computing and scalable data science. The delegates will get an opportunity to understand key changes and trends in technology world from the experts likes of Jose Roberto Alvarez – Senior Director, CTO Office PSG at Intel Corporation, Mark Papermaster CTO and EVP at AMD, Ramesh Hariharan CEO at Strand Life Science and Prof. Vivek Sarkar- Professor of Georgia Institute of Technology, USA.

The conference encourages student participation by providing an international forum to highlight student research accomplishments in HPC and facilitate them to interact with industry and academia and expand their network. Many academic, industry and government researchers from all over the world will present their research work, sharing best practices, build partnerships and collaborations with other attendees. The conference has become an excellent forum to nurture such collaborative partnerships that help accelerate innovation in this rapidly emerging space

This includes 2 sessions to bring the user and the industry together in the form of Industry Research Users Symposium (IRUS) of “Artificial Intelligence at Scale’ and ‘AI for Drug Discovery’.”

In addition to the two days of industry exhibits, the partners to the conference hold industry symposiums to bring together solution providers and users of HPC a forum for presenting the state-of-the-art in HPC platforms and technologies, for discussing best practices, and for exchanging experiences.
