Mumbai, Sep 4 (IANS) Actor Piyush Sahdev, best known for his roles in shows like “Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev”, “Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke” and “Beyhadh”, says despite his hectic work schedule, he hardly misses out his work-out.
“After shooting for almost 12 hours and approximately three to three-and-half hours of drive from home to set and back, there’s hardly much time I’m left with for myself, but then one thing I cannot miss on is to do what I love and that is work-out,” Piyush said in a statement.
“I just cannot miss my gym. So, that is what keeps me occupied and whatever time is left I sleep. And just in case I get a little more time I read books,” added the actor, who is currently seen in Colors show “Devanshi”.
Talking about benefits of doing gym, Piyush said: “Working out makes me more energetic and brings lots of relaxation to the body. It keeps me healthy.”
Additi Gupta is an avid learner
Ahead of the Teachers Day on Tuesday, actress Additi Gupta says she likes to learn new things in life and is open to both success and failure.
“I believe till we live we keep learning new things. It can be in any way, be it new technologies or certain situations. Every failure and success brings a new teaching to life,” Additi said in a statement.
“As tomorrow is Teachers Day, I would love to thank each and everyone who has contributed to my life. I am used to keeping myself updated with new inventions in life,” she added.
She has called herself a “happy learner”.
“I welcome every learning with regards. I have always come across lots of people who have taught me this or that in life and I take it as blessing. I have made my rules and regulations and have chosen a way for my life with those teaching only,” she said.
Additi has appeared in shows like “Qubool Hai”, “Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil” and “Ishqbaaaz”.
Food helps me in exploring cultures: Soni Singh
Actress Soni Singh considers herself a foodie and feels it helps her in exploring different cultures.
“Food has many health benefits. Apart from satiating your hunger, it keeps you away from depression and physical ailments. It also helps me in exploring new cultures,” Soni said in a statement.
“Being a foodie also means being a learner. Food is what allows every culture to express itself in the form of taste. No matter where you are in the world, nothing will taste exactly the same, and the uniqueness of flavour is an amazing cultural trait,” Soni said.
“I’ve found that trying a new food allows you to learn about the traditions behind a dish, its historical significance, rituals, and even agricultural practices. If you love to travel or explore new cultures, being a foodie is key,” added the actress, who is currently seen in Star Plus show “Aarambh”.
Talking about her personal favourite, “I like to do experiment in cooking. I love to eat Italian, salads and cheese. I’m a cheese lover. But I also enjoy cooking Indian diet for my parents and also festive food during festivals.”
