To encourage women safety and empowerment
With the recent launch of Idea Sakhi, brand Idea has taken a step forward to ensure that women stay safe and connected with their family and friends whenever they step out of their homes. With the intent of creating conversations around women upskilling and safety, Idea Sakhi joined hands with SVATANYA India Foundation, and organized a workshop to address the issues faced by underprivileged women in day-to-day lives.
The attendees belong to SVATANYA India foundation, an NGO dedicated to the cause of upskilling and providing livelihood opportunities for underprivileged women towards financial empowerment and providing soft toys to underprivileged children, which are sold under the in-house labels AMARYN & My Munchkin.
The workshop conducted at Munirka Community Centre, saw a gathering of around 100 women coming from different walks of life, who participated enthusiastically in the discussion and were briefed about the key benefits of Idea Sakhi. Participants were also given Idea Sakhi kits and were encouraged to use the service on their devices for their safety while they are on the go.
