Brisbane Australia, 10 December 2014: Playing against the hosts, the India Junior Men Team pulled off a win against Australia to an attractive goal margin of 4-2 in their fourth match of the five-match test series in Australia, today. The games are being played at the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Australia, in preparation for the 8th Men’s Junior Asia Cup in 2015.
The match began with both the teams playing a defensive game by showing an outward appearance giving a tough fight to each other.
Indian men were seen in their full form after scoring their first goal of the match which came through the stick of Arman Qureshi. Without wasting much time, the second goal was scored by Sumit Toppo which came as a field goal closely followed by Parvinder Singh who stroked effortlessly the third goal for India.
As the Indian team was defending very well from the start of the match, the Australian men struggled hard but were disappointed as they failed to capitalise any further opportunities to find the net after the two penetrations. Desperate to avenge the lead, Australia did not lose hope and continued to make a number of attempts to score further goals. Whereas, the Indian colts made up for the loss after losing the last match against Australia.
Maintaining the supremacy, it was Arman Qureshi again, who notched in another beautifully crafted field goal finishing the game to a stretched lead of 4-2, claiming a victory.
